Writing My First Feature Film - [I'M]MORTAL

For my graduate project at University, I took on the challenge of creating my first feature film.

I completed my 6 month writing journey in April, after 5 drafts and hundreds of ideas. I ended up with a fantasy world centered around my female protagonist - Clove - who is facing a serial killer within her school for immortal children. The script is 124 pages, and my proudest accomplishment. It ended up scoring me 78 in my overall degree, which I am overjoyed with.

After writing, I connected with a Netflix writer named Jonathan Wakeham. He encouraged me to transform it into a series, as the world is so complex. This is the next part of my journey as a writer, and I am working alongside him to create the pilot episode.

I am also working alongside Illustrator, Paige Spears, to bring the characters and world to life, as I was having troubles communicating the vision I have in my head. I am excited to watch my world come to life.
